Telugu - The sweetest language of the magnificent country - India - has a spinal cord that is enriched with 56 letters and inumerous numbers. Those letters and numbers have shaped the course of the language, script and ripened its sweetness over thousands of years. Having presented ALL of the letters in 3D form earlier, this volume is a humble attempt to present the numbers in an art form, drawn portraying a 3D effect and then digitally chiseled and enhanced that has never been attempted or seen before. Here I depict and decorate the telugu numbers, in the numerical order they are taught and learned from Zero to 10. The numbers that follow after 10, will be using the same pattern. Numbers 11 to 20 give you an example and the rest are presented at random. As it is a 3D rendering, and more importantly presented in an art form, those who are already familiar with the numbers will realize that the visual of actual telugu number might be SLIGHTLY, very very slightly, different than the ones presented here. Those who are new to the telugu numbering system, please refer to other resources either on internet or bookstores which cater to the need. I earlier have published a book titled "Know Your Telugu Numbers (Telugu Edition)" in 2018 and it is available on amazon at my author page. Interested folk may buy that one and practise. For more details - Please see the last page of this book. The text scheme used for the corresponding telugu number is presented in transliteration mode (as in telugu lipi converters) to make it easy for one and all. Hope this attempt will bring joy to you and I dearly wish many of you can bring out your own art version of the telugu script that has given us - an identity, culture, conversations, literature and so much more over thousands of years. Thank you for being a patron Vamsi M Maganti

India and the Patent Wars contributes to an international debate over the costs of medicine and restrictions on access under stringent patent laws showing how activists and drug companies in low-income countries seize agency and exert influence over these processes. Murphy Halliburton contributes to analyses of globalization within the fields of anthropology, sociology, law, and public health by drawing on interviews and ethnographic work with pharmaceutical producers in India and the United States. India has been at the center of emerging controversies around patent rights related to pharmaceutical production and local medical knowledge. Halliburton shows that Big Pharma is not all-powerful, and that local activists and practitioners of ayurveda, India’s largest indigenous medical system, have been able to undermine the aspirations of multinational companies and the WTO. Halliburton traces how key drug prices have gone down, not up, in low-income countries under the new patent regime through partnerships between US- and India-based companies, but warns us to be aware of access to essential medicines in low- and middle-income countries going forward.

India today is a vibrant free-market democracy, a nation well on its way to overcoming decades of widespread poverty. The nation’s rise is one of the great international stories of the late twentieth century, and in India Unbound the acclaimed columnist Gurcharan Das offers a sweeping economic history of India from independence to the new millennium. Das shows how India’s policies after 1947 condemned the nation to a hobbled economy until 1991, when the government instituted sweeping reforms that paved the way for extraordinary growth. Das traces these developments and tells the stories of the major players from Nehru through today. As the former CEO of Proctor & Gamble India, Das offers a unique insider’s perspective and he deftly interweaves memoir with history, creating a book that is at once vigorously analytical and vividly written. Impassioned, erudite, and eminently readable, India Unbound is a must for anyone interested in the global economy and its future.

Western policymakers, political activists and academics alike see patronage as the chief enemy of open, democratic societies. Patronage, for them, is a corrupting force, a hallmark of failed and failing states, and the obverse of everything that good, modern governance ought to be. South Asia poses a frontal challenge for this consensus. Here the world's most populous, pluralist and animated democracy is also a hotbed of corruption with persistently startling levels of inequality. Patronage as Politics in South Asia confronts this paradox with calm erudition: sixteen essays by anthropologists, historians and political scientists show, from a wide range of cultural and historical angles, that in South Asia patronage is no feudal residue or retrograde political pressure, but a political form vital in its own right. This volume suggests that patronage is no foe to South Asia's burgeoning democratic cultures, but may in fact be their main driving force.
