This book deals with the relationship between the appearance of UFOs as part of our conscious reality and the physical evidence left behind that substantiates that reality. The book shows how UFO evidence is examined and evaluates the mind’s ability to distort and alter the information that is perceived, further complicating the identification of the unidentified flying object. The phenomenon is examined from a historical perspective, tracing their interaction with the development in our civilization and culture. The startling conclusion addresses the issue of what their presence means in light of the new millennium and how their appearance in ancient history has been a harbinger of major change and upheaval on the earth. A UFO report form is provided by the author in the appendix at the end of the book. A continued study of and investigation into the UFO phenomenon is encouraged. This book includes common modalities that the reader can access to conduct their own continuing investigations.

This book was inspired by, and is loosely based on, "The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry" (1972) by the late Dr. J Allen Hynek. Dr. Hynek's book is generally considered to be the most influential book ever written about UFOs, but much has happened since 1972. This new book not only brings us up-to-date, but extrapolates on current science whenever possible. Perspectives are offered in three basic categories: natural causes, domestic technology, and alien technology. But perhaps more importantly a new way of looking at the phenomena is proposed that has been largely overlooked by other authors, and which finds itself at home in any of these three possibilities. The reader will not find discussion of conspiracy theories, accounts of abductions, or metaphysical and supernatural hypotheses. However, one will find speculations about possible alien visitations, what alien technology might be capable of, or what the distant future might hold.

Some people say they have had experiences like this. Are they telling the truth? To find out, Kelly Milner Halls investigated stories of eyewitnesses from around the world. She explored UFO sightings, landings, crashes, aliens, and even a few hoaxes. She also interviewed several of the world's UFO experts. Two eminent scientists debate UFO incidents, persuasive cases, and exploration of what we still need to know about the phenomena. From the outset, Hynek and Vallee make their position clear: UFOs represent an unknown but real phenomenon. The far-reaching implications take us to the very edge of what we consider the known and real in our physical environment. Perhaps, say the authors, UFOs signal the existence of a domain of nature as yet totally unexplored. These two eminent scientists studied the UFO phenomenon for decades and collaborated on this landmark report. In this mind-stretching book, the authors sample UFO reports, including those allegedly involving humanoids, and describe the patterns that have been perceived in the behavior of the phenomenon. They also establish a framework for the further study of the UFO phenomenon. Where might such study lead? What can be studied, and how? What is the real nature of the UFO phenomenon? Does it originate with the actions of other intelligences in the universe? If so, where, and what, might they be? Does the UFO phenomenon have a purely physical explanation, or is there a vaster, hidden realm that holds the solution? These are the questions that have concerned the authors for many years, and it is with possible answers to them that this book is concerned. The Edge of Reality is a deep dive in discussion between Hynek and Vallee and covers many facets of the UFO phenomena such as: The Betty and Barney Hill experience The Calvin Parker Pascagoula case Project Blue Book This is an invaluable work that gives insight into the thinking of Hynek and Vallee's research and investigations into UFOs. The Edge of Reality was original published in 1975 and has been available for many years.

The ultimate guide to Project Blue Book by one of the lead astronomers for the US Air Force program to investigate UFO sightings. Originally released in 1977, this new edition by the world's foremost authority on UFOs distills 12,000 sightings and 140,000 pages of Project Blue Book evidence into a coherent explanation. A US Air Force - sponsored UFO-basher for years, Hynek had completely changed his tune by the late 1960s. Whether you believe in little green men or an official government cover-up policy, The Hynek UFO Report is required reading. Have UFOs really been reported by every nation across the globe? Can all the eyewitness reports simply be fantasy? Are we victims of mass hallucination or just plain lies? Have close encounters actually occurred? Is the government concealing deep secrets at a hidden location? The Hynek UFO Report is rational, logical, and realistic. It is for anyone interested in UFOs, the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and the role of the US government in hiding the truth from the public.

Robert Powell, a founding Board member of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, has studied the UFO subject for 17 years. His work is encapsulated in UFOs: A Scientist Explains What We Know (And Don’t Know) which provides a scientific rationale for the reality of non-terrestrial craft that are intelligently controlled. Powell begins his book by familiarizing the reader with the history of UFOs and he identifies the more enigmatic and interesting UFO sightings. He examines the characteristics of these sightings that argue against a prosaic explanation: extreme acceleration, electromagnetic interference, bending light, no obvious propulsion mechanisms, and a lack of interaction with the atmosphere. Powell discusses the recent events that have caused our government to change the term from UFO to UAP. Included is information never before released indicating the government possesses not just two videos but five videos from 2015 of UFOs operating in the vicinity of the USS Roosevelt nuclear aircraft carrier. Powell’s later chapters in the book discuss the extraterrestrial hypothesis considering the thousands of exoplanets that have been discovered in the last twenty years. Powell challenges the reader to consider all the implications that must be considered if intelligent life discovers us first. He looks at how we as individuals and as a society react to UFOs. He documents actions taken by our military that include instances when we have fired on UFOs. Powell argues that it is time for a change in the study of UFOs. The phenomenon has been with us for 75 years and we have learned very little as the decades have passed. The author makes the case for what needs to be done going forward. The solution he proposes will require a paradigm shift in our thinking and his book provides the information needed to understand that paradigm shift.
