Download Two Space-Constrained Multi-Item Deterministic Inventory Models Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
This paper presents two types of multi-item deterministic constrained inventory models which relate to the constraints of the equivalent of a direct support unit in the Federal German Army; namely, that there is only a limited amount of space available for storage of items. One is a continuous review model with no stockouts allowed and the other is a periodic review model where backorders are allowed. In contrast to previous models analyzed by Naddor and others, time phasing of the arrivals of orders of different items is allowed. The benefit derived from this phasing is the reduction in the average amounts of on-hand inventory and backorders. Solutions are obtained for the two-item case and the n-item case is discussed. Examples illustrate the results. (Author).

Download Deterministic Inventory Problems with Real Life Constraints Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Chapter one deals with the general concepts involved in this work, scope and limitations, technique used to solve the problem with mathematical tools. Chapter two defines inventory problems, birth of inventory and various inventory models. Chapter three investigate a two stage partial trade credit policy with deteriorating items, where we determined the optimal cycle time. In chapter four two opportunity of permissible delay in payments with incremental and cash discount scheme are discussed in two sections respectively. Chapter five examines two stage credit policies with imperfect items where the determination of optimal ordering policies for retailer is prepared. Two stages of economic production quantity model with limited storage space are analyzed algebraically in chapter Six. In chapter seven two cases of variation in production corresponding to variation in demand and variation in production with variation in demand are discussed. Chapter eight deal with optimal ordering policies for retailers with different types of demand under progressive payment scheme.

Download Multi-Item Inventory Control Model with Space Constraints for Perishable Items Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
In this paper, a multi-item inventory control model is developed for perishable items in which production (or supply) is instantaneous with no lead time. Demand is uniform and deterministic and shortages are not allowed. The model is solved analytically for minimizing the total inventory cost, using Kuhn-Tucker theorem. The results are also illustrated numerically.

Download Two Constrained Inventory Models Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The paper presents two types of n product constrained inventory models, one lot-size and the other order-level. The constraints which are imposed on these models limit the amount of space occupied by the products at any time. Solutions are obtained for the lot-size systems which have two, three, and n products. The lot-size model is contained in chapter 3. A solution is obtained in the two product case for the order-level system. The problems involved in determining an n product solution for this system are discussed. Chapter 4 contains the consideration of this model. Chapter 5 concludes this paper with a summary of the results of the research and recommendations for future research in the area of constrained inventory systems. (Author).

Download Fuzzy Multi Item Inventory Model with Deterioration and Demand Dependent Production Cost Under Space Constraint: Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Programming Approach Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
In this paper, we have developed a multi-objective inventory model with constant demand rate, under the limitation on storage of space. Production cost is considered in demand dependent and the deterioration cost is considered in average inventory level dependent. Also inventory holding cost is dependent on time.

Download Problems & Solutions in Inventory Management Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
This book presents a compilation of over 200 numerical problems and solutions that students can use to learn, practice and master the Inventory Control and Management concepts. Intended as a companion to any of the standard textbooks in Inventory Control and Management and written in simple language, it illustrates very clearly the steps students need to follow in order to solve a given problem. It also explains which solution methodologies can be used under which circumstances. Offering an ideal one-stop resource for mid-level engineering and business students who have taken Inventory Management or a related subject as an elective, this book is the only one students will ever need to prepare and gain confidence for their examinations in this subject.

Download An Inventory Model under Space Constraint in Neutrosophic Environment: A Neutrosophic Geometric Programming Approach Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
In this paper, an inventory model is developed without shortages where the production cost is inversely related to the set up cost and production quantity.
