This volume could have been issued some weeks earlier had not the editor been compelled to devote much of his time to the volumes of the World's Homoeopathic Convention, with the intention of bringing out at least one of them before now but circumstances entirely beyond his control have rendered it impossible. He would urge in extenuation of whatever errors may be noticed, the haste he has felt obliged to make, and his labor upon one of the 1876 volumes, often editing the two side by side and reading the different proof-sheets at the same time - not always an easy task.
