The process of finding ones self, or self worth becomes tedious, when there is no one there to direct or to give instruction of purpose and destiny; or mainly the identity, of the person with the crisis. Prophet Rodney will testify that when he experienced the disarray of life, there was much unexplained emotional pain. Feelings of repeated rejection, molested at age eight by a very close family member. He became overwhelmed with life and the uncertainty that it brings. Avenues of promiscuity opened and were vastly available. Many times we in the Body of Christ compromise the word of God through conversations with satanic voices of rebellion assigned to us from Satan. Satan has assigned voices to cause us to fall from the will of God in disobedience of the Word known to us. Satan desires to lead you to see opposite of what God wants you to see; and that strips us from position, of such is what happened to him (Satan).

The purpose of this book, Mending Broken Vessels, is to open the Word and show how God can fix all that are broken, Heal all that are hurting, Rebuild that which was torn down. Relationships come and go, but those that remain are tested over time. Then there are some relationships that are supposedly safe-havens to grow and cherish, but that safety can become violated and the results can be devastating. Psalms 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Life flows out from the cracks in a broken vessel that has been surrendered to Christ. Pain gives the restored person a unique perspective and empathy in ministry. The recovered addict, the abused teen, the redeemed felon - regardless of the nature of the trauma - each is potentially a powerful witness of divine grace. Of what value is a broken vessel? This seminar explores the powerful witness of a once-broken life, and shows how God can use even the most fragmented human being to change the world. Something wonderful happens when a once-shattered life is restored. The bowed head breaks away from the crippling shame and guilt, and looks upward for the first time. A new journey begins. Out of those shattered places, the healing oil of the Holy Spirit flows. For every pain that was suffered, there is a story of triumph that must be told... As the broken person celebrates divine restoration, there is a special kind of ministry that will occur. Those experiences that were life-shattering, now enable him to minister to others who need deliverance.

Widespread deficiencies in spiritual formation see an increasing number of ministers buckle under the significant burdens common to the task. There are seasons when a powerful triad of the flesh, the world, and the devil converge (Eph 2:2-3, cf. Jas 3:15 and 1 John 2:16). Misdirected attempts to fulfill emptiness, find worth, or heal longstanding wounds ensue. Widespread instances of sexual immorality result. Sound exegesis and analysis of theological doctrine presents an allowance, in certain cases, for ministerial restoration. However, this necessitates an intimate and intricate approach that differs significantly from the varied solutions churches and denominations offer. Few restoration programs bring a biblical response to bear. Remarkably rare are restoration programs that look to correct causal factors and commit to congregational care. This program orients itself on an understanding of brokenness and the need for holistic (re)formation. The latter requires fallen ministers to progress beyond biblical confession and repentance to partner with the Holy Spirit and key authorities such as an overseer, mentors, Christian mental health professionals, and a designated congregation. The unitive goal is a "sanctifying psychopathology" that properly diagnoses spiritual and emotional health; eradicates the adverse influences of emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors; and redirects self-oriented patterns of thought and behavior.
