Download Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences was first conceived, published, and disseminated by the Center for Information and Numerical Data Analysis and Synthesis (CINDAS)* at Purdue University in 1957, starting its coverage of theses with the academic year 1955. Beginning with Volume 13, the printing and dis semination phases of the activity were transferred to University Microfilms/Xerox of Ann Arbor, Michigan, with the thought that such an arrangement would be more beneficial to the academic and general scientific and technical community. After five years of this jOint undertaking we had concluded that it was in the interest of all concerned if the printing and distribution of the volumes were handled by an international publishing house to assure improved service and broader dissemination. Hence, starting with Volume 18, Masters Theses in the Pure and Applied Sciences has been disseminated on a worldwide basis by Plenum Publishing Corporation of New York, and in the same year the coverage was broadened to include Canadian universities. All back issues can also be ordered from Plenum. We have reported in Volume 40 (thesis year 1995) a total of 10,746 thesis titles from 19 Canadian and 144 United States universities. We are sure that this broader base for these titles reported will greatly enhance the value of this impor tant annual reference work. While Volume 40 reports theses submitted in 1995, on occasion, certain uni versities do report theses submitted in previous years but not reported at the time.

Download Handbook of Heterocyclic Chemistry Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Provides a one-volume overall picture of the largest of the classical divisions of organic chemistry, suitable for the graduate or advanced undergraduate student, as well as for research workers, both specialists in the field and those engaged in another discipline and requiring knowledge of heterocyclic chemistry. It represents Volume 9 of Comprehensive Heterocyclic Chemistry and utilizes the general chapters which appear in the 8-volume work. The highly systematic coverage given to the subject makes this the most authoritative one-volume account of modern heterocyclic chemistry available.

Download Advanced Organic Chemistry Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The two-part, fifth edition of Advanced Organic Chemistry has been substantially revised and reorganized for greater clarity. The material has been updated to reflect advances in the field since the previous edition, especially in computational chemistry. Part A covers fundamental structural topics and basic mechanistic types. It can stand-alone; together, with Part B: Reaction and Synthesis, the two volumes provide a comprehensive foundation for the study in organic chemistry. Companion websites provide digital models for study of structure, reaction and selectivity for students and exercise solutions for instructors.

Download Organic Reaction Mechanisms 1991 Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The only book series to summarize the latest progress on organic reaction mechanisms, Organic Reaction Mechanisms, 1991 surveys the development in understanding of the main classes of organic reaction mechanisms reported in the primary scientific literature in 1991. The 27th annual volume in this highly successful series highlights mechanisms of stereo-specific reactions. Reviews are compiled by a team of experienced editors and authors, allowing advanced undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and chemists to rely on the volume's continuing quality of selection and presentation.

Download Oxidative Cross-Coupling Reactions Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The first handbook on this emerging field provides a comprehensive overview of transition metal-catalyzed coupling reactions in the presence of an oxidant. Following an introduction to the general concept and mechanism of this reaction class, the team of authors presents chapters on C-C cross-coupling reactions using organometallic partners, C-Heteroatom bond forming reactions via oxidative couplings, and C-H couplings via C-H activation. The text also covers such groundbreaking topics as recent achievements in the fields of C-C and C-X bond formation reactions as well as C-H activation involving oxidative couplings. With its novel and concise approach towards important building blocks in organic chemistry and its focus on synthetic applications, this handbook is of great interest to all synthetic chemists in academia and industry alike.
