"This volume contains supplementary genealogical material that fills some gaps in the 1915 memoir and extends to 1962 information about many of the descendants of Simon Huntington and his wife Margaret Barret (or Baret as it is spelled in the 1915 book)"--Preface (p. [5]). This supplement 1 includes the history of the Huntington Family Association since its creation in 1857, and the history of the reunions. The reunions were all held in Norwich, Connecticut except in 1954, when Chicago was the meeting place. The Huntington family members in the far west hold separate reunions since about 1949

Preface to supplement 2: "This volume presents the accumulation of genealogical data received subsequently to the publication of the first supplement in 1962. The intention is to supplement (and, where pertinent, to revise) the information in the 1915 and 1962 publications; but not to repeat it except to identify persons by name, birthdate and HFA numeric key. Publication was authorized August 15, 1981, in the sixteenth Huntington Family Reunion in Norwich, Connecticut. The material herein presented was received during the incumbencies of the following historians: Wilbur Joseph Huntington Sr., 1962-1972; Morgan Parke Huntington, 1972-1981; Emily Huntington Bidwell, 1981-1985. The function of the historian in HFA genealogical publication has been that of editing. The actual authors of this volume are the family members who have sent in their information, now gratefully acknowledged.".
