It was created by ReNina Minter, LMFT, a licensed marriage and family therapist with a Masters in clinical psychology. She has over 20 years' experience in education, social services, and mental health.The phrases use a neutral, compassionate tone, and create a space of acceptance, power, self-compassion, and solutions. The intention is to help the mind reduce avoidance of stress and overthinking about stress, or the feeling of powerlessness toward stress.
