Children of the Light tells the story of a family's discovery of their spiritual destiny to bring healing energy to a desperate world. Every day their experiences are life-altering! While one child entertains guests from the 'other side,' the other travels through swirling time portals that go back in time - even to the dinosaurs! Angels appear with crowns and blazing swords, and in one instance as a musical ensemble. Miraculous healings occur on a regular basis, and coded messages are sent daily to alter their spiritual DNA. This book will appeal across a wide spectrum of the 'spiritually curious.' Many thousands experience déjà vu, synchronicity, or an unexplainable spiritual yearning, but most are uncertain how to respond. And millions more are disillusioned and fed up with the contradictions, hypocrisy and scandal of organized religion. Children of the Light will provide them with a desirable outlet to fulfill their spiritual needs. Perhaps most amazing of all, is the phenomenon of the Indigo children, who some believe represent 90% of all children under 12 years of age. These children and their parents will experience considerable life change after reading this book

About the Book When a group of children are accidentally affected by a light experiment, they find themselves with the ability to travel at the speed of light between physical and spiritual realms. Armed with the swords of God’s power, warring angels, and the name of Jesus; they learn to battle in the spirit realm to save themselves, their families, and a nearby town from evil plans of destruction. Children of the Light teaches readers the importance of prayer by giving a glimpse of the warfare that rages in a world not seen with natural eyes. So, when things go “bump” in the night, we know what to do to “bump” back using weapons of warfare provided by God. Children of the Light has been called a spiritual warfare manual that teaches with real scripture principles but is written to provide an exciting and thrilling adventure all ages will enjoy and find hard to put down. About the Author Christine Thomas is a licensed, ordained minister and a graduate of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI. Through her work with various branches of the community including spiritual care and counseling, being a sexual assault victim advocate, and spreading awareness of sex trafficking, she has seen enough damage done from the kingdom of darkness that she is passionate about giving people a chance of winning their spiritual battles, and not just surviving them. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 50 years and has five children and six grandchildren. Some of her grandchildren’s names are used as main characters in this book. Her hobbies include dancing, writing, being outdoors, and eating food. If prayer is considered a hobby, then that’s one too!

The Children of Light and the Children of Darkness, first published in 1944, is considered one of the most profound and relevant works by the influential theologian Reinhold Niebuhr, and certainly the fullest statement of his political philosophy. Written and first read during the prolonged, tragic world war between totalitarian and democratic forces, Niebuhr’s book took up the timely question of how democracy as a political system could best be defended. Most proponents of democracy, Niebuhr claimed, were “children of light,” who had optimistic but naïve ideas about how society could be rid of evil and governed by enlightened reason. They needed, he believed, to absorb some of the wisdom and strength of the “children of darkness,” whose ruthless cynicism and corrupt, anti-democratic politics should otherwise be repudiated. He argued for a prudent, liberal understanding of human society that took the measure of every group’s self-interest and was chastened by a realistic understanding of the limits of power. It is in the foreword to this book that he wrote, “Man’s capacity for justice makes democracy possible; but man’s inclination to injustice makes democracy necessary.” This edition includes a new introduction by the theologian and Niebuhr scholar Gary Dorrien in which he elucidates the work’s significance and places it firmly into the arc of Niebuhr’s career.

A personal exploration of the conjunction between ancient Mesoamerican prophesy and New Age higher consciousness. • Selected by the Independent Publisher's Book Awards as one of the top two New Age books of the year. • Explores ancient prophesies and their relevance in the contemporary world. The Incan and Mayan cultures saw themselves as “children of light”--descended from celestial realms--and their prophecies foretell a time of great spiritual awakening. They prophesied a time when the gateways to higher consciousness would open once again. That time is now. Award-winning author Judith Bluestone Polich draws on her extensive research in quantum physics, archeoastronomy, holography, cosmology, and pioneering studies of human consciousness to show how science and contemporary thought are consistent with this ancient knowledge. As the ancients predicted, the human god-seed is beginning to awaken, and modern civilization is finally beginning to perceive human potential in ways that the ancient cultures accepted as truth. Polich introduces techniques for awakening our own human potential through dreaming, meditations, and the power of sacred sites.
