To day, so how in the world does he manage to keep going? There seems to be but two answers to the ques tion. Either the number of elevators will have to be reduced through the natural law of the sur vival of the fittest, or the price of handling grain will have to be greatly increased. The one remedy will take a considerable time, the other would be difficult to put in effect at the present time with the farmers clamoring so strenuously for more money, as it would have to come from them.
