The old growth Red Pine forests around Wolf Lake in the Temagami area of Ontario have no protection from mineral exploration and mining. In August 2013 a group of artists camped for four days among the ancient Red Pines on the shore of Wolf Lake. The creative work done during those days, and the lasting inspiration of the experience has resulted in a traveling exhibition of art. Its intent is to raise awareness of the beauty and the vulnerability of the largest tract of mature Red Pines in existence, and the importance of keeping the Wolf Lake wilderness intact. In this book the pARTners for Wolf Lake share their passion in pictures and words.
