This knowledge is of ahfolute nece/zty The other knowledge of ourfelves, which is more particular and private, coiyifls in an intimate acquaintance with our own di/lznguijhing character, our flate and condition in a religious capacity, our pre vailing inclinations, our attainments and de feets, what there is commendahle in us, and worthy to he cheri/hed, and what that is other wiji'.
