How many times have we read bible stories about individuals who were hurting, wounded, lost, disappointed or distressed? Circumstances such as adultery, murder, betrayal, incest, sickness and disease left these people broken. Yet, when they became desperate enough to have a little faith all Jesus had to do was speak a word and they were made whole. How long did it take? Many times because they had a change of heart and mind about past hurts and failures their healing was instant. I was dying a slow death. I was wounded in my mind, body and spirit and didn''''t even know it. Those who know me knew something was wrong. I didn''''t look or feel the same. I was grew sick and my hair was falling out in lumps. My self-esteem was at an all time low. There was no life in me. I died to live again. No, I wasn''''t rushed to the emergency room. Nor do I claim to have seen the light like some people have experienced. The world''''s greatest physician could not have brought me back to life. So what happened to me? I became desperate for God. Nothing else and no one else would do. I realized I couldn''''t fix my problems. What seemed like positive changes only lasted for a short while. I needed God''''s divine intervention. I let go and let God. Are you or someone you know in desperate need of healing? Do you still find yourself haunted by memories of your past? Are you angry, bitter or suffering from anxiety or depression? You don''''t have to lick your wounds or remain crippled by your past. If you are ready to open your heart and mind to healing, God can heal you. I may have some scars, but I''m totally healed.
