One of the two auditors retires each year. There are monthly and quarterly meetings of the Society, and special meetings may be summoned at the desire of the secretary or of any four members. The president has a second or casting vote. The rules may be altered at a special meeting, provided that one month's notice of the proposed alterations has been given. (4.) Other applications are dealt with according to the rules of the Central Association. Letterpress printers who have served a seven years' apprenticeship are eligible. Members excluded for arrears are re-admitted as new members on terms sanctioned by the Executive Council. (5.) The contribution is 6d. a week for fully employed members, 3d. a week for members working not more than three days in the week, and 3d. a week for apprentices. If this sum is inadequate, a special meeting may be summoned to raise a levy, or increase the contributions. Members not clear on quarter day are fined 3d., and dealt with according to tho rules of the Central Association. (10.) The minimum rate of wages for a week of not more than fifty-six hours is 31. in news, aud 30s. in jobbing offices. Further regulations for wages and hours of work are given in the rules. Any member working in an unrecognised office without the consent of the Committee, or receiving less than the established wages or piece-price scale is liable to expulsion.
