The votes cast for senator in a town in the district Will not be recounted by the Senate unless evidence is produced of such a nature as to satisfy the Senate that there was probable cause to believe that a mistake had been made in ascertaining or assuming the result of the vote for senator sufficiently large to change the result of the election.
