This is the first report of the National Energy Extension Service Advisory Board to Congress and the Secretary of Energy. This report presents the Board's observations and recommendations on whether and how the Energy Extension Service should expand from a pilot to a nationwide program. The National Energy Extension Service Act (P.L. 95-39, Title V, Section 509)established the National Energy Extension Service Advisory Board. The Board was chartered in accordance with provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (P.L. 92-463) on May 31, 1978.
