The demurrer to the bill of complaint should have been overruled. Upon its averments the complainant was entitled to a decree perpetually restraining the defendants, and each of them, their servants, agents and employees, from the manufacture and 51-24 distribution of gas in New Orleans, by means of pipes, mains and conduits laid in or along the streets and other public ways and places of that city.
