M. On motion of J. Eli Gregg, Esq., Dr. F. J. Hill, of Wil mingtou, N. C., was called to the chair, and S. R. Chand ler and Wm. A. Walker, were appointed Secretaries. On motion, the Secretaries with Robert H. Cowan, Esq., were appointed a committee to examine and verify proxies, and report the number of shares of stock represented.
