C., Thursday, Sept. 25th, 1902 The rolling stock appears to be in good working condition. The work of repairing done in the Company's Shops at New Bern appears to be as well done as this class of work is done in the first class shops of other roads, and at considerable saving in cost to the Com pany.' We are advised that the Company is in need of additional cars to accommodate the increased volume of travel (we refer you topage six of Mr. Bryan's Annual Report to the Stockholders). This need ought to be remedied as speedily as possible. The financial condition of the road appears to be healthy. The report of President Bryan to the Stockholders shows that the earn ings of the road for the year ending June 3oth last, have increased over the preceding year 77.
