Arabella believes that she is just a normal girl that the powers that be somehow managed to skip over when she was born. While everyone in the Vosat villages are born with power Arabella is the exception to the rule. Still as ordinary as she may seem there are things about her past that remain hidden from her. The only clue she has as to who she was is the scar she got from the night that her home village was attacked. Even with her memory gone fragments of that night still haunt her. She knows that she was supposed to die that fateful night but somehow she survived. Her village had been all but destroyed and her mother was dead. Her older brother abandoned her to the care of the Grand Elder, never to be heard from again. For Arabella everyday was a struggle, shunned for having no powers and only one person to call friend, she must learn to fight and protect herself. However, the normal life that Arabella led would soon change when she is called before the Council of Elders. Arabella gets sent on a mission under false pretenses. Soon her quiet life would be turned upside down as she is caught in a battle between good and evil, Gods and Goddesses. Arabella must discover who she is and the secrets of her past, before Yoshiro and his followers can strike again, as she learns to face her fears and rediscover old friends long forgotten.
