Like many of today's stars, Matthew just knows he'd be a great director, too. After watching an action movie, he decides to make his own film -- he'll play the hero and his mom can star as his best girl. Matthew spends the day planning his movie, but by bedtime, he's worried about real-life villains. What if they try to steal his mom? Just in case, Matthew gives her his bicycle bell to ring if she's ever in any trouble. Around about midnight Matthew wakes up when he hears the bell. He looks out his window and sees a villain tying a man to streetcar tracks! With seconds to spare Matthew rescues the man who turns out to be Illinois Smith. Together, he and Matthew, a.k.a. Manitoba Matt, form the North American Terrific Twosome. Suddenly, Matthew sees the villain making off with his sleeping mother! As the Terrific Twosome takes off in hot pursuit, the whole adventure is broadcast live on the dreaming channel. Illinois Smith and Matthew soon rescue Matthew's mother who appears to have slept through the whole ordeal. Matthew's disappointed that she'll never know about his award-winning performance, but the next morning, when she wakes up, it seems she's had the strangest dream . . .
