"Witchcraft for Beginners: A Beginner's Guide to Low Magick is an occult codex that reveals and teaches the secret techniques of low magick. Low magick is an ancient practice of magick and is primarily characterized by the use of the mind than relying on tools and other magical paraphernalia. Hence, just because it is called "low" magick does not mean that it is weak. In fact, great sorcerers and witches of the ages were proficient in the craft of low magick. It is worth noting that low magick is not in any way less than high magick. In the end, the power of one's magick will depend on the effective use of one's mind for a magical purpose. Witchcraft for Beginners: A Beginner's Guide to Low Magick will help you unleash your true power by awakening the infinite power within you. This is, indeed, an excellent codex for beginners as it will teach you how to awaken and use the occult powers of your mind. By making your mind magical, you can turn your life magical. Remember this: Your reality is a reflection of your mind. Low magick is the magick of the mind. It is the magick that is made from the pure roots of witchcraft. It is, as you can now see, magick in its purest form. In fact, since it is the magick of the mind, it can be said that all true occultists and magical practitioners are, to a certain extent, practitioners of low magick. Now, here is the good thing about directly practicing low magick: It will enable you to actually focus on strengthening your mind power thereby increasing your magical power significantly. When you want to really work on your magick, there is no better way of doing this than working directly on your mind. Witchcraft for Beginners: A Beginner's Guide to Low Magick provides the theoretical knowledge, as well as the techniques that you need to be able to direct the mind to achieve the magical mindset that is optimum for magical work. According to an ancient teaching, "The All is Mind, the Universe is Mental." Indeed, this is true, and low magick is the craft of magick that deals directly with the mind of the magician/witch. Learn how you can harness the energy of the universe and use it to make your will manifest on all planes of existence — including the physical plane. This is the key to materialization of forces and the way to true power. May this occult codex awaken your mind and unleash your soul."

“Magick is not a path for followers; it is a path for questioners, seekers, and anyone who has trouble settling for dogma and pre-formulated answers. Magick is for those who feel the desire to peel away the surface of reality and see what lies beneath. Like various persecuted forms of mysticism, magick promotes direct contact with the source of creation.” —Damien Echols Discover a Powerful Practice for Transforming Yourself and Your Reality At age 18, Damien Echols was sentenced to death for a crime he didn’t commit. “I spent my years in prison training to be a true magician,” he recalls. “I used magick—the practice of reshaping reality through our intention and will—to stave off incredible pain, despair, and isolation. But the most amazing feat of all that practice and study was to manifest my freedom.” With High Magick, this bestselling author shares his first teaching book on the powerful spiritual techniques that helped him survive and transcend his ordeal on death row. Though our culture has consigned “magic” to fiction, stage illusions, or superstitions about dark practices, the magick Damien learned is an ancient Western tradition equal the Eastern practices of Buddhism, Taoism, and yoga in its wisdom and transformative power. Here he brings you an engaging and highly accessible guide for bringing magick into your own life, including: • What is High Magick? Damien clears away the stigma and reveals the history and core teachings of this extraordinary art. • The Four-Fold Breath—a foundational meditation practice to train your mind and body to channel subtle energies. • The Middle Pillar—how to bring divine energy into the central channel of your body for empowerment and healing. • The Qabalistic Cross—a centering technique to help you stay balanced and protected regardless of circumstances. • The Lesser Rituals of the Pentagram—powerful practices for banishing negative energies and invoking energy to manifest your goals. • Working with angelic beings and other spiritual allies to support your practice. • Creating thoughtforms to assist you in your ongoing magickal development. • Guidance for overcoming your doubts, enhancing your visualization skills, creating talismans, practicing magick ethically, and much more. “Magick is a journey,” writes Damien. “It’s a continuously unfolding path that has no end. You can study and practice magick for the rest of your life and you will still never learn everything that it has to teach you.” If you’re ready to discover your untapped potential for co-creating your reality with the energy of the divine, then join this extraordinary teacher to begin your training in High Magick.

He was the premier writer of horror fiction in the first half of the 20th Century, perhaps the major American practitioner of the art between the time of Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen King. Born into an upper middle class family in Providence, Rhode Island, Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937) had a lonely childhood, but read voraciously from his earliest years. He soon became interested in science and astronomy and began penning stories, poetry, and essays in great profusion, publishing them himself when no other market was available. The advent of Weird Tales in 1923 gave him a small outlet for his work, and he attracted a large number of followers, with whom he exchanged literally tens of thousands of letters, many of them quite lengthy. A number of these young correspondents eventually became professional writers and editors themselves. Lovecraft's fame began spreading beyond fandom with the publication of his first significant collection, The Outsider and Others, in 1939, two years after his untimely death. Book jacket.
