The French Minister of Foreign Affairs was good enough to present to the Library the French diplomatic documents (1871-1914) relating to the origins of the war of 1914. The Ministers of the various Legations in Ottawa have kindly presented various books and documents to the Library. The Librarians have endeavoured to secure the most important of the large number of new books issued during the past year on Economics and Finance.
