Jeremiah the Squirrel! is a book about a little squirrel that lives in a park. Across the road there is a different kind of park. There are different animals that live in this other park. Jeremiah is scared to go over because he is afraid those animals will hurt him. Then he has to go across the road to the different park. He then realizes that the other park isn't that bad or scary at all and he meets some nice animals along his adventure. About the Author Alissa Taylor Bailey thought that she would give the reader a children's book that is about two different worlds that are only across the road from each other. One side of the road has a little squirrel that is scared to go out into the outside world, but realizes that the world doesn't have to be scary as long as you have people that are willing to be friends - even if they are different. Alissa is a new author, but she has always liked to write. Also, she wants to get the message to the world that just because God makes everyone different does not mean we have to dislike each other. Children have always been an important part of Alissa's life and she thought that writing a book could catch their attention and teach them that people can get along no matter what they look like. Come join Jeremiah on his adventure to the other side of diversity and friendship and escape all the chaos of the world into a fun and happy place for you and your child.

This is a follow up from my book Jeremiah the Squirrel (2017). I have always enjoyed writing and with the events that happen in my life and in the world I have made into short children's stories. I have always had a heart for kids and for writing. I believe that kids learn at a young age. And what better way than to write it with a illustrated story. I would like to get the word out there, that there is more important things in this world that video games and what the world sees from the outside. This world is only temporary and God has plans for everyone in this world. Jeremiah is a little squirrel that learns firsthand about some on the most important things in life. All these stories have morals and stories behind the story. I wrote the "Jeremiah's trip to the big city!" after a local police officer got killed in the line of duty. I wrote "Jeremiah meets firefighters Greg and Rick!" after we lost our cousin that was a firefighter. I wrote "Jeremiah and the foxes learn to pray!" after someone at our church testified that they were healed from cancer by the power of prayer. I wrote "Jeremiah's "What is love story?" after a song was released called Reckless Love by Cory Asbury I wrote "Jeremiah gets a brother" after I had my second child. Thank you for your time you take to read my stories, enjoy!!

Being a computer nerd makes saving the land of the Faerie a bit of a doddle for Jeremiah Willow-Bottom. Watching a raindrop running down a windowpane one day he imagines he sees an old, gnarled, leafless forest, moss-covered and sad. However, something startles him and he immediately returns to his bedroom. All his further attempts to return to the strange place are thwarted. FEAR OF THE GUN: In February 1849, Lorenzo, a Mexican-American war veteran, walks west from Albuquerque toward the Alta California gold fields. Lost in the Ponderosa Pines of the San Francisco Peaks Mountain range, Lorenzo is saved from hypothermia and Cholera by Hanna, a Jewish sheep rancher living alone. Hanna and Lorenzo build a supply station for the surveyors and crews of the Beale Wagon Road, while Hanna schools their three children, Jeremiah, Zachary, and Sarah. Tragedy prompts Lorenzo to join the New Mexico Volunteers during The Civil War. He leaves Zachary (eleven) and Hanna to manage the ranch. Zachary, an adult in 1884, moves back to Flagstaff, vowing justice for the wrongs he has witnessed. Awaiting the arrival of the Deputy U.S. Marshal from Phoenix, Zachary and Hanna confront the violent man from their past alone. FEAR OF THE GUN explores the American Civil War and slavery from an isolated mountain in the frontier wilderness of the Arizona Territory. Historically accurate, this exhilarating story of one man’s relationship with guns has relevance in today’s firearm prevalent American society.

Delving into the mystery, Tyler finds himself experiencing mysterious visits from a Native American woman, investigating a potentially devastating threat to the environment—and facing a more immediate danger when someone starts making attempts on his life . . . “An accomplished writer . . . This rather grizzled character he has come up with is about as ruggedly individualistic as any Vermonter could wish for.” —Reviewing the Evidence
