ELI data shall be structured as specified in Appendix B of reference 5. For frequency and PRI this shall consist of a list of free form zone boundaries (Figure B-2, ref. 5) with the trunk numbers present in each zone. For PW only a list of the trunk numbers in each of the fixed zones (32) need be generated. These lists shall form the input to the EL1 generation programs. EL2 data shall consist of values for the fields of each entry as specified in reference 3. These field values shall form the input to the EL2 generation program. The entries in EL2 shall be ordered according to increasing values of the scan type code -i.e., 1, - 2, 3,Within each scan type the ordering shall be according tQ increasing values of minimum scan period. (This is not required for the present version of level 2 search, but can save search time if the software is improved.

Sequential and Simultaneous Start-Up 1. Requirement - Emitters in a given scenario will be activated either sequentially or simultaneously. The acquisition time, parameter values, ID codes, and response codes shall be provided for each emitter. 2. Output Data Format - The format for a page of output data shall be as shown in either Figure 1 or Figure 2. The listing shall provide a time history of significant events in the processing. Two capabilities shall be provided: an unsofted sequential time history and a time history sorted by EFN. 3. Detailed Design - Each of the events shall correspond to messages within the SC which shall be output by means of data extraction points. The correspondence between events, messages, and the location of the data extraction points shall be as shown in Table I.

This CDBDD (Common Data Base Design Document) specifies the computer program common data requisite to the Integrated Electronic Warfare System (lEWS) Advanced Development Model (ADM). This program shall be addressed herein as the IEWS-ADM program. Common data is that data required by two or more modules and/or blocks of the IEWS-ADM program. This CDBDD, based upon the CPPS (Computer Program Performance Specification) and developed in accordance with the CPDS (Computer Program Design Specification), provides a detailed description of all common data tables, variables, constants, flags and indices.

The resource management function shall determine whether each emitter constitutes a threat, and if so, a response shall be determined. This function shall assign a lethality to each threat emitter based on the degree of threat to the IEWS airframe. The emitters shall then be ordered by lethality and resources shall be assigned. Where resources are limited, the emitters of higher lethality shall be assigned those resources preferentially. The function shall also initiate, monitor, and terminate the operation of the emitter tracker (ET), techniques generator (TG), and other units. This function shall also control operation of the SS auxiliary bus for ET and TG data. This function shall assign channels and special technique generators on the basis of function and availability, and shall pass necessary parameters to the units mentioned above.
