The world has become increasingly networked and unpredictable. Decision makers at all levels are required to manage the consequences of complexity every day. Systems thinking must be implemented more generally, and on a wider scale, to address these issues. "This Handbook presents Systems Thinking applied to management and policy. It shows both the diversity of the field and also patterns that unify this diversity. These three waves gave rise to a rich diversity of approaches.
