Eva Zane spent a lifetime studying and absorbing the culinary and cultural traditions of her beloved Greece. As the child of two Greek food lovers and the chef-owner of several Greek and Mediterranean restaurants in San Francisco, Zane has never been far from the tangy aroma of calamari in white wine and lemon juice or the crackle of succulent young goat roasting over an open charcoal pit. In "Greek Cooking for the Gods," Eva Zane has compiled a thorough and profoundly authentic collection of Greek recipes honed by years of loving experimentation and refinement ranging from playful appetizers like stuffed cucumbers, stuffed grape leaves, and spanakopetas, to traditional soups, salads, hearty entrees, and delectable desserts. Other favorite menu items include spaghetti with clam sauce, stuffed lamb shoulder with eggplant, and taramosalata. She even includes advice and menu ideas for special occasions and religious celebrations as well as a chapter on Greek wine and spirit pairings. If you are interested in developing your Mediterranean palate or endeavor to recreate the flavors of your Greek grandmother's beloved home-cooked meals, let "Greek Cooking for the Gods" take you on a delightful culinary adventure to the sea-salt breezes and bright blue waters of the Aegean isles. Pastor Donatien, ThM., a former SE.MI.PI. (a cadet in the Malagasy Army), a one-time Ankaramalaza middle school teacher, a notable former pastor’s assistant, and a charismatic, successful former senior pastor of Ankaramalaza—the center of one of Madagascar’s four major revival movements which was founded in 1941 by Christ Jesus through His servant, Prophetess Mama Volahavana Germaine, also known as Mama Nenilava, his wife’s grandmother. The prophetess's ministry, during the ministry’s annual celebration, attracts over twenty thousand attendants from all over Madagascar and some from abroad—who are mostly Christians but some are non-Christians. Donatien struggled with homosexuality at such an early age, he could not recall when he began practicing it, which led to a masturbation addiction. As a teen, he was afraid to sleep with girls but was determined to be a husband, so he pushed himself to have girlfriends and even managed to force himself to have sex with a few of them. In 1983, Jesus saved him in a miraculous way and called Donatien to be an ordained pastor, specifically in the Malagasy Lutheran Church, and began to burden his heart with a desire to bring the message of the cross to those who are lost and to help those who are affected by homosexuality. Pastor Donatien never returned to homosexuality but struggled with masturbation off and on until Jesus delivered him from it once and for all, over a decade later. Married in 1987, he and his lovely wife, Claire, have one precious granddaughter and five wonderful grown children—a daughter and four sons, her younger brothers. Through divine experiences, the outpouring of the Spirit of the Living God, and the speaking in tongues marvel, the Lord Jesus guided the anointed and fiery preacher to write this series for the world—to help the living and the future generations as the end of time and its undeniable global challenges and apocalyptic plights are fast approaching us. Pastor Donatien, after spending more than a quarter of a century of preparation, of which over five of those years he spent day and night, seven days a week, 365 days a year doing nothing else but solely writing during which their three noble, amazing, younger sons completely assisted him in whatever the undeserved divine task may require and, also, having his dear wife’s full support, finally, he finished penning down GOD’S COOK BOOK - 1 recipe 4 ALL: YOUR MESS + HIS GRACE - MENU: GOD’S GLORY - VOILÀ: EVEN DELIVERANCE FROM HOMOSEXUALITY - REJOICE! All glories, honors, powers, praises, and thanks be unto the Living, Mighty, Holy, and loving Father Lord God, His one and only Son, and the Holy Spirit alone. This book is the first volume of GOD’S COOK BOOK series, which some people may say is unorthodox since even the series’ title voices random terms. Surprisingly, long ago, some folks asked, “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? (John 1:46). But then, around that same time, to reply to a certain individual, the Lord Jesus expressed, “Come and see” (John 1:39). One may be wondering, therefore, about what it is that makes this series so unusual? Which is utterly understandable! Well, to borrow that expression from Christ our Lord and Savior, another person may say, “Come and see!” or “Read and see!”

Creation's Plate book of recipes (includes over 100 recipes with individual pictures) In a world of eat this and not that, Creation's Plate presents recipes to enjoy foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving. My husband began our transformation in 2013. If you would have told me then how we would be eating today, I would not have believed it. It all started with some negative blood test and a fear of a life with chronic health issues that motivated my husband to research and change our diet. At first, I was totally on board, of course, I could lose a few pounds; however, I still wanted my "treat" day. Little did I know we were on the road to giving up eating out, sugar, and our high carb diet all together. As the years went by, we took away and sometimes added to our diet. As my husband researched and learned, we began our changes. I was determined to transform our favorite foods so we could still enjoy them. I had always dreamed of putting a recipe book together. I loved the idea of passing it down to our daughter, as well as enjoying it in the kitchen while cooking myself. I never thought it could be a reality until I was inspired by my sister-in-law. I then began the process in hopes of sharing recipes I have adapted to fit our new way of enjoying Creations Plate.

People communicate by speaking words in over seven thousand languages around the world. They also sing, dance, paint, preach, dramatize, and design communication that enlivens heart, soul, mind, and strength. God gave every community unique gifts of artistic expression to enable its members to proclaim the Truth and to bring healing, hope, and joy to others in the fallen world in which we live. Community Arts for God's Purposes highlights the CLAT (Creating Local Arts Together) method, a seven-step process that inspires artistic creativity and collaboration with local musicians, dancers, storytellers, actors, and visual artists. In this manual, the arts are treated as special kinds of communication systems, connected to specific times, places, and social contexts. As local communities use the creative gifts developed in their particular culture to worship God and extend his kingdom, a beautiful example of the Lord’s complex artistry emerges. This book helps communities draw on examples and insights from over two thousand years of church history to understand and improve the present. It motivates people by painting a vivid picture of a better future: the kingdom of Heaven. Contributors also apply expertise from multiple academic disciplines, such as ethnomusicology, performance studies, anthropology, biblical studies, and missiology. Experiment with this manual. Adapt it to your setting. Let it be an aid in creating astounding bits of artistry on earth that you’ll recognize in Heaven.

This collection of stories marks Singapore’s first book on creation care. Each story captures how ordinary Christians from different walks of life have humbly put their faith into radical action, and integrated the biblical ethos of creation care into the everyday. The writers reflect on creation care as an organic part of the path of discipleship and missional living, rather than an imposed or burdensome duty. The book presents a refreshing local perspective on the distinctiveness of Christian environmental ethics, seeks to encourage fellow Christians on this creation care journey, and inspire those who have yet to begin. Ultimately, it is an invitation to followers of Christ to care for God’s marvellous creation as an act of worship and love.

This book addresses the questions about the believer's relationship to the Torah (the five Books of Moses, or the Pentateuch) and its commandments (the Law): Since Jesus kept the Law, are believers (Jewish and Gentile) also obliged to keep the Law, or at least some portions of it (Sabbath, the food laws, etc.)? What about the Oral Law (rabbinic traditions)? How does the Torah point to the Messiah? How do we apply the Law of Moses today? Though this book is based on more than a decade of academic research, it is written with the non-academic reader in mind and provides easy-to-understand answers to the questions related to the Torah and does so in a manner thoroughly rooted in a careful reading of the biblical text.
