A single valued neutrsophic set is one of the most successful extensions of the classical set, fuzzy set, intuitionistic fuzzy set, Pythagorean fuzzy set and q-rung orthopair fuzzy set due to the fact that it can handle uncertain data in more wider way. In this paper, we introduce some new generalized weighted similarity measures based on the exponential functions defined on truth-membership function, indeterminacy membership function and falsity membership function of a single valued neutrosophic set to study the independent influences of the truthmembership function, indeterminacy membership function and falsity membership function. The salient features of these proposed similarity measures are studied in detail. Based on the proposed similarity measures, we propose a multi attribute decision making method. To show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method, an investment decision making problem is demonstrated.

In this paper, a definition of quadripartitioned single valued bipolar neutrosophic set (QSVBNS) is introduced as a generalization of both quadripartitioned single valued neutrosophic sets (QSVNS) and bipolar neutrosophic sets (BNS). There is an inherent symmetry in the definition of QSVBNS. Some operations on them are defined and a set theoretic study is accomplished. Various similarity measures and distance measures are defined on QSVBNS. An algorithm relating to multi-criteria decision making problem is presented based on quadripartitioned bipolar weighted similarity measure. Finally, an example is shown to verify the flexibility of the given method and the advantage of considering QSVBNS in place of fuzzy sets and bipolar fuzzy sets.

Smart ports represent the current trend of port development. Intelligent operations reduce the daily production cost of ports, facilitate ecient production, strengthen the risk mitigation ability and comply with the requirements for long-term development. However, a systematic and scientific smart port evaluation method is missing to nail down the evaluation indicators of a smart port and enable accurate evaluation of a port’s degree of intelligence. This paper analyzes the concept of the smart port, establishes a set of smart port evaluation indicator systems, and applies a single-valued neutrosophic exponential similarity measure to port evaluation to enable quantitative evaluation of port integrity. This evaluation method is capable of decision-making in the event of incomplete, uncertain, and inconsistent information during general evaluation, opening up a new method for smart port evaluation, and acting as a helpful tool for ports to carry out improvements during actual application.
