Download Microscale General Chemistry Laboratory Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
In the past two decades, microscale techniques have soared in popularity because these techniques minimize exposure to potentially dangerous chemicals in the lab, drastically cut the amount of chemical waste, lower costs, and reduce risks of chemical fires and explosions. The result is a safer and healthier laboratory environment. Now, with Microscale General Chemistry Laboratory with Selected Macroscale Experiments, Second Edition, you can bring these techniques into your own chemistry lab. Thoroughly revised with updated experiments, the new Second Edition continues to offer a large variety of well-designed, easy-to-follow experiments, as well as thorough background information and an outstanding selection of questions and problems.

Download Guided Inquiry Experiments for General Chemistry Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
The use of the laboratory is a valuable tool in developing a deeper understanding of key chemical concepts from the experimental process. This lab manual encourages scientific thinking, enabling readers to conduct investigations in chemistry. It shows how to think about the processes they are investigating rather than simply performing a laboratory experiment to the specifications set by the manual. Each experiment begins with a problem scenario and ends with questions requiring feedback on the problem.

Download The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
BANNED: The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments was a children's chemistry book written in the 1960s by Robert Brent and illustrated by Harry Lazarus, showing how to set up your own home laboratory and conduct over 200 experiments. The book is controversial, as many of the experiments contained in the book are now considered too dangerous for the general public. There are apparently only 126 copies of this book in libraries worldwide. Despite this, its known as one of the best DIY chemistry books every published. The book was a source of inspiration to David Hahn, nicknamed "the Radioactive Boy Scout" by the media, who tried to collect a sample of every chemical element and also built a model nuclear reactor (nuclear reactions however are not covered in this book), which led to the involvement of the authorities. On the other hand, it has also been the inspiration for many children who went on to get advanced degrees and productive chemical careers in industry or academia.

Download Experiments Arranged for Students in General Chemistry (Classic Reprint) Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
Excerpt from Experiments Arranged for Students in General Chemistry This little work is designed as a guide for beginners in chemistry. The authors have found the course of instruction as arranged in the following pages productive of good; its object is not to dispense with the supervision of an instructor, but rather to assist him. The present edition differs from its predecessors in that new experiments have been introduced, while others described in former editions have been modified in accordance with the experience obtained in the daily use of the book with large classes. Although reference is frequently made to Richter's "Inorganic Chemistry," fifth edition, any other text-book on the subject can be employed in its stead. The experiments have been collected from various sources, and no claim is made for originality. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
