Federal deception law in its turn concentrates on federal and state statutes and regulations that, while often related to UDAP litigation, establish distinct requirements and remedies. It discusses all FTC and CFPB rules (including the FTC "Holder" Rule), the federal and state RICO sections, the federal False Claims Act section, and sections on telemarketing fraud, inconvenient phone calls, junk faxes, and spam, regulation of unordered merchandise, plain English statutes, and disclosure language requirements when sales are concluded in other languages. Accordingly, the FTC rules, telemarketing statutes and regulations, and federal and state RICO statutes have been moved from the "parent" title to Federal deception law. Cf.
