Eurostat provides free access to its data, which are all available on its website (http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat). It publishes harmonised statistics on the European Union (EU), its Member States and candidate countries, as well as on some other non-member countries, and offers a comparable, reliable and objective portrayal of economic, social, environmental and technological trends. It collects data from national statistical authorities according to EU-wide methodologies within the European Statistical System. Most Eurostat data may be freely reused for any purpose, including commercial reuse. Data are, therefore, genuinely comparable.
