The Proposed Resource Management Plan (PRMP) provides a framework for the future management direction and appropriate use of the Eastern Interior Planning Area, located in Interior Alaska. The document contains both land use planning decisions and implementation decisions to guide the Bureau of Land Management's management of the four planning subunits in the Eastern Interior Planning Area: Fortymile, Steese, Upper Black River (Draanjik), and White Mountain subunits. Major issues and management concerns analyzed included: Minerals management, travel management, wilderness characteristics, special designations, subsistence, recreation, and wildlife.
