The bibliography consists of sources containing meteorological and/or climatological data for those islands in the Indian Ocean which lie within the approximate bounds of south of Ceylon, west of Sumatra and Australia, east of Malagasy Republic and north of 60 deg. S. latitude. Reunion is only casually mentioned in this bibliography and will be treated as a separate bibliography at a later date. Also included are data for Macquarie Islands (54 deg 37 min S and 150 deg 54 min E) which is in the South Pacific Ocean and Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic Ocean.
