Excerpt from Acts of a General Nature, Passed at the First Session of the Twentieth General Assembly of the State of Ohio, Vol. 20: Begun and Held in the Town of Columbus, December 3, 1821, and in the Twentieth Year of Said State Sec. 1. Beat enacted by the General Assembl of the state of Ohio, That the sum of two thousand one hundvred and thirty dollars, be and the same is hereby appropriated for the pay ment to John C. Bayless, of the amount of his contract with the state, for paper furnished by bim, in the year eighteen hundred and twenty-one: which sum shall be paid out of the treasury, upon the order of the auditor of state, sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That the further sum of two hundred and twenty dollars, beand is hereby appropri ated for the payment of Lowry and Simonton; the same be ing the amount of their. Contract for paper by them furnished as aforesaid; which sum shall be paid out of the treasury, upon the order of the auditor of state.
