The silliest thing just happened to me! Just because I never did any of my homework and hardly showed up to some classes I've been forced into summer school if I want to be able to pass the fifth grade and get into middle school next year. It's not as bad as it seems though, my best friend Grunt is in summer school too, so at least I'll have someone to talk to. My entire summer is going to be filled with summer classes because I failed three classes last year. I bet I'll be bored out of my mind, but it's not like zombies have anything better to do in the summer, avoiding the sun and all. Anyway, I heard that my first month-long session is in history and it's being taught by a skeleton! I wonder what sort of crazy stuff I'll learn...or what kind of crazy dreams I'll have when I end up sleeping through class. I guess I'll just need to wait to find out. Book 2: My Science Teacher Is a Witch Ugh, that's how I feel and that's also my name. I'm a Zombie going through an all-monster's summer school. I need to pass three classes this summer if I want to be able to make it into middle school next year. I already passed one class, a history class taught by a Skeleton. Now I need to pass a science class taught by a witch! I bet this class is going to be crazy, but I know that I'll still need to try my best in class because science isn't exactly my best subject...which could be why I'm in summer school... At least I have my friends Grunt and Snow to help me to stay entertained during and outside of class. They're really great pals, even though Grunt can be temperamental at times. My goals for this class are to pass, with both my brain and friendships intact. This month is going to be intense, I just know it! Book 3: My Gym Teacher Is a Blaze My name is Ugh, and I'm finally in my last month of my all-monsters summer school. I had to sign up for three months of summer school because I failed three classes in school last year. I already passed my history and science classes, but now I have to face my last challenge: gym class. I always skipped gym class during the school year, but now I need to show up every day if I want to pass the class and make it to middle school next year. This won't be easy because my gym teacher is a Blaze. Blazes are known to be pretty hardcore, and I doubt that I can get away with slacking in this class. My best friends, Grunt and Snow, won't even be there to help me because they'll be taking different classes this month. I'll have to make new friends or go at this alone if I want to make it through the month. I'm just wondering if a Zombie like me has what it takes to get through a gym class taught by a tough Blaze.
