Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Excerpt from Outlines of Dogmatic Theology, Vol. 2 IN this Second Volume of Outlines of Dogmatic Theology the same plan is pursued as in the First. In one respect the matter here to be treated difi'ers from that which was dealt with in the First Volume; it is less controversial, for it treats mostly of subjects as to which there is general agreement among all who bear the name of Christian. At the same time, there is perhaps no Treatise which is altogether clear of points on which the records of Revelation are variously interpreted. But, as has been already said, the object of the work is mainly exposition, and therefore the aim of the writer has been to treat each point with the fulness proportioned to its importance as part of the whole body of Revelation. Dogmatic Theology By William GT Shedd Volume II ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Windham Press is committed to bringing the lost cultural heritage of ages past into the 21st century through high-quality reproductions of original, classic printed works at affordable prices. This book has been carefully crafted to utilize the original images of antique books rather than error-prone OCR text. This also preserves the work of the original typesetters of these classics, unknown craftsmen who laid out the text, often by hand, of each and every page you will read. Their subtle art involving judgment and interaction with the text is in many ways superior and more human than the mechanical methods utilized today, and gave each book a unique, hand-crafted feel in its text that connected the reader organically to the art of bindery and book-making. We think these benefits are worth the occasional imperfection resulting from the age of these books at the time of scanning, and their vintage feel provides a connection to the past that goes beyond the mere words of the text.
