Simple, beautiful, kind-hearted, and goal-oriented type of woman—those are the words that perfectly describe the twenty-one-year-old Dayanara Clariz Rivera, or simply Diane. At a very young age, her life had been tested with a series of negative events and one of them was mysteriously dark. There was a huge part of her life that she had completely forgotten, making her instinctively trapped from the past. Diane thought she was living a normal life despite being troubled by her strange nightmares. In addition to that, she found herself stuck in a love triangle between two strikingly handsome business magnates. How could she face the truth when choosing her love interest would bring her much excruciating pain? How could she live her life again once she figured out everything that happened?

What if the key to changing your life--and yourself--is already in your hand? So many women struggle with what to do with their daily lives. They feel trapped in everyday drudgery and disappointment, in dull domestic duties, and in mundane jobs they despise. Where is the abundant, purposeful life they were promised? Kari Patterson shows readers the truth: in each unremarkable life lies an opportunity to see, know, love, and be utterly transformed by a God who meets everyone right where they are. Instead of stepping away from real life to find God, Patterson equips women with a six-step practice to move further in and meet Him in the humdrum moments of everyday existence. And when a woman's inner being is truly changed by the sacred, everything in her world changes too--right down to tackling the dirty dishes. Through entertaining narrative, candid real-life stories, Bible study, and practical instruction, Sacred Mundane guides individuals or small groups to discover the beautiful sacredness in the lives they already lead. Women who long to grow in God and make a real difference in the world--no matter how small--will reach eagerly for this book and the radical transformation it offers. "Our daily routine, with its mundane tasks and mindless repetition, is ultimately an offering of worship to God. What a great truth from a great God!" --Ann Byle, author of The Making of a Christian Bestseller and coauthor of Devotions for the Soul Surfer

Death is not the end; death is a new beginning, a new chance, and a new journey for your soul. All through time, man has wandered if there is life after this life. Does all life stop when we die? Does the body go back to earth from where it came from. Does your soul go on to another life, or does it simply go to heaven or maybe hell to remain until eternity? There are a few facts that we know. When we are born, in time we will die; this cannot be changed. This is a fact. Our body will go back to the earth. These are the facts. So you might say that you do not prepare your body for death, but you must prepare your soul for its next journey. Another fact, God is more powerful than evil. He created your soul, and He does not give up easily. In fact, He does not give up on your soul ever, but he will hand out punishments for the wicked but never gives up on them. This book is about my dream of where my soul ended up in the paradise that God promised. Remember that this was my dream; your dream of paradise may be totally different. I did not think too much about my dream until I read an article about dreams. The article said that you do not remember dreams completely. Most dreams you do not remember any of, and some you may remember parts of them. But a dream that you remember completely was not a dream, but it was a message. This made me think that just maybe, there was more to this dream than I was thinking. After writing my dream and reading it several times, it made me set back and think about the message that may be inside. Jesus said in His teachings that if we believed in Him and followed in His footsteps, He would give us a place in His paradise and have life through eternity. Read this book several times, and let your mind wander. Wander about where you want your soul to be. This dream has changed my life. Fears of growing old and death are all gone; anticipations of my next life are exciting or maybe just stay in the courtyards of paradise through eternity. Never stop dreaming, and no matter how old you are, your life can change in a heartbeat. And if you have a dream like mine, tell everyone your dream. Tell the whole world about your dream; it just might be more than a dream. This makes growing old fun! My glimpse into God's paradise...

Written in Soviet Moscow in the 1920s—but considered too subversive even to show to a publisher—the seven tales included here attest to Sigizmund Krzhizhanovsky’s boundless imagination, black humor, and breathtaking irony: a man loses his way in the vast black waste of his own small room; the Eiffel Tower runs amok; a kind soul dreams of selling “everything you need for suicide”; an absentminded passenger boards the wrong train, winding up in a place where night is day, nightmares are the reality, and the backs of all facts have been broken; a man out looking for work comes across a line for logic but doesn’t join it as there’s no guarantee the logic will last; a sociable corpse misses his own funeral; an inventor gets a glimpse of the far-from-radiant communist future.

Two events made September 1st a memorable day for Jesse Cullum. First, he lost a pair of Oakley sunglasses. Second, he saved the life of President Ulysses S. Grant. In the near future of Robert Charles Wilson's Last Year, the technology exists to open doorways into the past--but not our past, not exactly. Each "past" is effectively an alternate world, identical to ours but only up to the date on which we access it. And a given "past" can only be reached once. After a passageway is open, it's the only road to that particular past; once closed, it can't be reopened. A passageway has been opened to a version of late 19th-century Ohio. It's been in operation for most of a decade, but it's no secret, on either side of time. A small city has grown up around it to entertain visitors from our time, and many locals earn a good living catering to them. But like all such operations, it has a shelf life; as the "natives" become more sophisticated, their version of the "past" grows less attractive as a destination. Jesse Cullum is a native. And he knows the passageway will be closing soon. He's fallen in love with a woman from our time, and he means to follow her back--no matter whose secrets he has to expose in order to do it. Joseph Benner (1872–1938) was an American author, Spiritual writer, and Representative of the Brotherhood of Christ who used the pen name "Anonymous." He was the first to introduce the Knowledge and Teachings of the Impersonal Life (also known as the "I AM" Teaching) to the world in his first book, "The Impersonal Life". Benner taught that Christ's proclaiming "I AM" indicated "the true spirit that resides in every human being." In the 1960s Elvis Presley was introduced to Benner's work by his guru, Larry Geller. In the last 13 years of his life, Presley gave away hundreds of copies of the book, The Impersonal Life. A copy was allegedly with him on the night he died.
