Keep your mind young and your memory sharp with 450 Jigsaw Sudoku Variety Puzzles Book. Scientific research has shown that solving logic puzzles as Sudoku keeps your memory sharper and your mind younger. There are 5 different types of puzzles in this book, Diagonal Jigsaw Sudoku, Anti-diagonal Jigsaw Sudoku, Girandola jigsaw Sudoku, Jigsaw Windoku, Consecutive jigsaw Sudoku. The book has 90 puzzles for each type from easy to hard, a total of 450 puzzles with solutions. Jigsaw Sudoku is variation of classic sudoku where the 3x3 blocks are no longer square, instead it's irregular region of 9 cells, and all numbers from 1 to 9 must be fit inside with no repetition in any row or column or region. As twisted as it sounds, these puzzles are challenging and addictive. Diagonal jigsaw Sudoku or Jigsaw Sudoku X is like classic sudoku in the rules where no repetition of numbers in any column or row or block. The difference between classic Sudoku and Sudoku x or diagonal sudoku is the extra constrain or rule where the numbers 1 to 9 must fit in the diagonal lines and no repetition of any number in the diagonals marked by the gray big X lines. The Anti-diagonal variation is an added extra step to make solving the puzzles a little challenging. Where the diagonal lines should only have at most three different numbers. Repeated numbers are okay in the diagonal line, that is why it's called anti-diagonal. Other sudoku rules as no repetition in the blocks, rows and columns should be followed. Girandola Jigsaw Sudoku has the same rules as Jigsaw Sudoku plus an additional rule where the scatted shaded cells must contain the numbers 1 to 9 with no repetition in those shaded cells. Jigsaw Windoku has extra four (3x3) blocks (shaded) where the numbers 1 to 9 can fit in without repetition, so there are the 9 blocks and the extra four shaded blocks making in total 13 overlapping regions. Consecutive Sudoku is a variation of traditional sudoku with the same rules, i.e. numbers from 1 to 9 to be placed in every row, column, and block without repetition. However, consecutive Sudoku takes it little further by consecutive condition, where there are little rectangles or rods between cells that contain consecutive numbers. If there is nothing between the cells, then the numbers on those neighbor cells may have non-consecutive numbers. Features Size: 8 x 11.5 inch (large size) with softcover and paperback binding. Pages: 110 pages with full-page 450 different puzzles. (6 puzzles per page so it's compact for easy carrying and holding). Plus, the Answers of all the puzzles at the end. Welcome to this brand-new book for 2020, featuring one sudoku-style puzzle for every day of the year in 2020. Each puzzle is dated from 1st January 2020 through to 31st January 2020, so if you love solving sudoku puzzles, this book will give you a new puzzle to look forward to every single day of the year! It's a great gift either for yourself or a puzzle-lover, particularly a fan of sudoku-style logic puzzles whether it be for Christmas, a birthday or indeed any other time! There are ten different types of sudoku puzzle in this book, which alternate from day-to-day as you work your way through the book. Whilst some variants will be familiar, some others may be new to you. But don't worry, the instructions are given alongside every puzzle, so if you're unsure help is readily at hand. In addition all solutions are given at the back of the book, so if you get stuck solving (or just want to check your answer is correct), then the solution is readily accessible for every puzzle. Here are the different types of puzzle in this fantastic new book of sudoku variants for 2020: Arrow Sudoku - A visually appealing variant that adds arrows to the grid, numbers along the path of an arrow sum to the circled square at the head of each arrow. Consecutive Sudoku - This puzzle tells you where all the consecutive pairs in the grid are, such as 4,5 or 7,8 - can you use this logic to help you solve the puzzle? Inequality Sudoku - This sudoku variant tells you the relationship between some pairs of squares in the grid, using greater than and less than signs (such that 4 4, etc) Jigsaw Sudoku - One of the most popular sudoku variants, the 3x3 boxes are replaced with irregular-shaped regions making for a fun but often slightly trickier solve than standard sudoku Killer Sudoku - A common variant that is again generally harder than standard sudoku, here dotted cages are added to the grid, and numbers within each cage must sum to the number given at the top-left of each cage Sandwich Sudoku - A fantastic new variant that has proven very popular: around the edge of the grid you are told the sum of the digits between the 1-9 in each row and column in the grid. The number 0 means that the 1-9 are adjacent, whilst the highest number is 35 (the sum of 2+3+4+5+6+7+8) which means the 1 and 9 must be in the first and last square of the row/column in some order. A simple and fairly innocuous rule change, but with big implications, and introducing some fascinating new solving-logic to the puzzle mix Snowflake Sudoku - A 3D / three-dimensional sudoku variant, in the shape of a snowflake, here some regions go around corners to literally add a new dimension to the solving experience! Sudoku - The classic, much beloved puzzle with the elegantly simple rules but a lot of depth. Just place the numbers 1-9 once in each row, column and box. How hard can it be? Sudoku X - One of the first sudoku variants to appear when sudoku first took the world by storm, but less commonly seen now. This variant adds two diagonal regions to the grid which are marked in grey, forming what looks like a giant letter X in the grid, hence the name of the puzzle. Thermo Sudoku - A fun variant that adds thermometers to the grid. The numbers inside each thermometer must increase from the circular bulb to the head of the thermometer. Thus 2,4,8 would be possible within a thermometer, but 2,5,5 would not be, nor would 2,5,7,3: the former due to repetition and the latter because the values do not consistently increase. Will your temperature rise trying to solve these puzzles? The final thing to say is that every puzzle can be solved through the use of logic alone - you will never need to guess to solve any of these puzzles, and they all have a unique solution. Good luck, and happy solving!
