The Young Prince and His Fate: Trapped in Time By: Jessica Wheeler This book continues the story of Ranvir, who is now married and with a child on the way. A tragic event makes him want to travel back in time. He ends up being trapped in time in a whole different world of what could’ve been. His journey is to get back to his own world before it’s too late. What makes the story interesting, is seeing Ranvir’s journey of trying to get back. He’s still learning that actions come with consequences. We finally see him start to realize that when he knows that he could possibly lose everything. What makes the message relevant is to not let fear get in the way of anything and everyone has it good until it’s gone. This is a lesson that Ranvir has to learn. What makes this book unique is that it’s inspired by the authors life in some ways. To say anymore would be a spoiler, all the authors ideas for the sequel were based off events that happened to her except the part of going back in time. One thing the author wants the readers to gain out of the story is to cherish every moment with your loved ones as tomorrow is never promised.

The stories in this Fairy Book come from all quarters of the world. For example, the adventures of 'Ball-Carrier and the Bad One' are told by Red Indian grandmothers to Red Indian children who never go to school, nor see pen and ink. 'The Bunyip' is known to even more uneducated little ones, running about with no clothes at all in the bush, in Australia. You may see photographs of these merry little black fellows before their troubles begin, in 'Northern Races of Central Australia, ' by Messrs. Spencer and Gillen. They have no lessons except in tracking and catching birds, beasts, fishes, lizards, and snakes, all of which they eat. But when they grow up to be big boys and girls, they are cruelly cut about with stone knives and frightened with sham bogies all for their good' their parents say and I think they would rather go to school, if they had their choice, and take their chance of being birched and bullied

A son is born to great Egyptian pharaoh but when the fairies visit to bless this future ruler, they tell the pharaoh ?It is written in the books of fate that he must die, either by a crocodile, or a serpent, or by a dog. If we could save him we would; but that is beyond our power.? So the pharaoh builds a high tower and with a sad heart places his son in the most inaccessible room with round-the-clock guards to protect him. Time passes and the son grows into a fine young man. Straight limbed and handsome. He tells his father, ?I know all about the prophecy that was made at my birth, but I would far rather be killed at once than live an idle, useless life here. So give me arms, and let me go, I pray you; me and my dog too.? Realising the prince is right, with a heavy heart the pharaoh grants his wish and sets his son free. What follows recounts the journeys and adventures of the young prince finding his way in the world. Does the prince survive? Can he overcome and break the curse that is written in the book of fates? Does he fall in love and, does his path cross that of a crocodile, serpent or dog ? or maybe all three? In a time long ago, a kingdom thrived under the rule of a wise and just king. The king and his queen were beloved by their subjects, and their reign was marked by prosperity and harmony. However, their greatest joy came with the birth of their only son, Prince Frederick. From an early age, it was evident that Prince Frederick possessed a kind heart and a deep sense of empathy. Surrounded by wealth and privilege, the young prince yearned for something more-something beyond the confines of the palace walls. He longed to understand the struggles faced by those less fortunate, to explore the world beyond his sheltered existence. Guided by his insatiable curiosity and an innate desire to make a difference, Prince Frederick often found himself venturing into the streets of the kingdom, disguised as a commoner. He would observe the lives of the people, listen to their stories, and offer a helping hand whenever possible. Little did Prince Frederick know that these early encounters would plant the seeds of compassion that would later shape his destiny. The empathy he felt for the less fortunate would ignite a fire within him-a fire that would drive him to become a beacon of hope and kindness in a world that sometimes seemed devoid of such virtues. And so, as the young prince grew, so too did his longing for a greater purpose. The path that lay ahead would be filled with challenges, lessons, and unexpected transformations. The prince's journey would take him from the opulence of the palace to the humble abodes of the impoverished. It would test his resolve, push the boundaries of his understanding, and ultimately lead him to discover the true meaning of nobility. This is the story of Prince Frederick-the tale of a privileged youth who became a compassionate leader, a story of the transformative power of empathy, and a reminder that true greatness lies not in titles or riches, but in the ability to bring light to the lives of others.
