Excerpt from The British Columbia Gazette, Vol. 75: January 24th, 1935 If a copy of the Bill, petition, and notices proved as aforesaid shall not have been so deposited in the hands of the Clerk of the House at least eight clear days before the opening of the Session or if the petition has not been presented to the House within the first ten days of the Session, the amount to be paid to the Clerk shall be six hundred dollars.
