Excerpt from Food Consumption, Prices, Expenditures: Supplement for 1969 This supplement revises and updates through 1969 the statistical information contained in Food Consumption, Prices, and Expenditures, issued July Most tables begin with data for 1960 and include any earlier revisions in footnotes. Data are reported as of August 1970. The updated tables in this report carry the same numbers as in the original bulletin. This report omits tables 112 through 117, which contain cross sectional data from the 1960 - 61 Survey of Consumer Expenditures, the 1965 Nationwide Food Consumption Survey, and the 1963 Census of Business. Tables 119-125 which were added in the 1968 Supplement also are omitted. Table 108 has been expanded to include an estimated breakdown of food expenditures at home and. Away from home, data not available prior to 1960. Tables 73 and 74 were omitted because no new information on canned baby food and soups is available.
