His love for superheroes led to the creation of the superheroes of the Hero Squad in this book. Blaze, Little Flash, and Blitzfire are entirely new creations of the Hero Squad, as are the supervillains Dark Warrior, Madhatter, Shadow, Wildflame and Blade Rush of the Dark League. Being able to relate to the superhero from within is a major characteristic encounter that all kids should experience.
