I’m Caith Morningstar: bar owner, leather wearer, shoe worshipper, werewolf, Orlando’s resident ass kicker and… Satan’s niece. The dead are rising in the land of that famous mouse and apparently, I’m the one who has to deal with the mess. Forget movie night with my kid. I have to kill ghouls who have decided to make some new undead friends in the morgue. Eh, killing things is easy. Generally. Oddly, these guys have glowing blue eyes and are way too good at butt kicking. Thankfully, I’m better. I manage to get rid of them, but one gets in a shot or two of his own, and now I’ve got a foot-long wound in my side that glows blue. Kinda like the ghoul. Now the dick who made those ghouls is trying to turn me into his puppet, which so isn’t going to happen. My loved ones are trying to cure me, my angel mate is off on some super-secret mission for On High, and I’m stuck in bed “resting.” Not that I’m staying there. I’d rather die than become anyone’s puppet, which might be my only option left. I just hope I can come back from the dead later.

After a group of upstart humans are sentenced to hell, they develop a 100 year master plan to get more humans to hell. Their plan conceived in the late 1800's consists of a series of inventions that will provide Satan with unbelievable reach to humans. Unfortunately, the plan does not receive a warm reception in hell. "Year - 1890 - Satan stood in his office surveying hell through the window. His concern grew as he analyzed his market reports on the number of souls arriving in hell. The results looked worse than ever...his regime was at a critical juncture at this point in history. If this flat growth in soul acquisition continued, good would reign over evil.” In frustration, Satan glanced at his desk, spying the two strategic plans to boost his soul-a-meter. One plan, the safest choice, recommended continuing with the current strategies. The other plan, presented by a new addition to hell, Sal, not only had him quite confused, but the old guard of hell despised it. He contemplated his options and just wasn’t sure what to do...Satan read the title of the plan, “Satan’s One Hundred-Year Master Plan.” He was aghast! One hundred years—wow—“Why should I wait one hundred years?” What happens to the master plan? Can Sal "win" in hell? Can Sal and Barb be together? All these questions will be answered through this unprecedented emotional ride through life in the most terrorizing existence. With the answer to the ultimate question, “what if our world is really not an accident, but rather crafted by the king of evil over 100 years ago?” Imagine the past as our future

When Luke O’Neil isn’t angry, he’s asleep. When he’s awake, he gives vent to some of the most heartfelt, political and anger-fueled prose to power its way to the public sphere since Hunter S. Thompson smashed a typewriter’s keys. Welcome to Hell World is an unexpurgated selection of Luke O’Neil’s finest rants, near-poetic rhapsodies, and investigatory journalism. Racism, sexism, immigration, unemployment, Marcus Aurelius, opioid addiction, Iraq: all are processed through the O’Neil grinder. He details failings in his own life and in those he observes around him: and the result is a book that is at once intensely confessional and an energetic, unforgettable condemnation of American mores. Welcome to Hell World is, in the author’s words, a “fever dream nightmare of reporting and personal essays from one of the lowest periods in our country in recent memory.” It is also a burning example of some of the best writing you’re likely to read anywhere.

The Actionary Saves the Day! When mild-mannered Chesney Arnstruther accidentally summons a demon and causes Hell to go on strike, he doesn’t expect to wind up as what he had always dreamed of being: the Actionary, a costumed crimefighter with a weasel-headed fiend for a sidekick. But that’s just the beginning of a journey that will see the “high-functioning” autistic actuary enmeshed in the schemes of a greedy televangelist, romancing a pepper-spray-wielding manicurist, and sitting down to a poker game with the Devil where the stakes include his immortal soul. After a series of heroic feats of capturing and killing infamous outlaws--most notably Jim Webb--and an introduction to Belle Starr, Reeves finds himself in the Fort Smith jail, charged with murder. This second book in the Bass Reeves Trilogy investigates what really happened when Reeves made the greatest mistake of his life on the heels of his greatest achievements.

In Jaime Lee Moyer's A Barricade in Hell, Delia Martin has been gifted (or some would say cursed) with the ability to peer across to the other side. Since childhood, her constant companions have been ghosts. She used her powers and the help of those ghosts to defeat a twisted serial killer terrorizing her beloved San Francisco. Now it's 1917—the threshold of a modern age—and Delia lives a peaceful life with Police Captain Gabe Ryan. That peace shatters when a strange young girl starts haunting their lives and threatens Gabe. Delia tries to discover what this ghost wants as she becomes entangled in the mystery surrounding a charismatic evangelist who preaches pacifism and an end to war. But as young people begin to disappear, and audiences display a loyalty and fervor not attributable to simple persuasion, that message of peace reveals a hidden dark side. As Delia discovers the truth, she faces a choice—take a terrible risk to save her city, or chance losing everything?
