Download The Psi Connection: A Personal Voyage of Discovery Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
A few years ago the author of The Psi Connection had a disturbing experience while experimenting with self-hypnosis. He saw a vision of a past life in which it appeared he had lived as a farmer in the 1800s. He tried twice more and each time had a similar vision that seemed to be from the same time and place. Frightened by the implications, he strongly rejected the possibility that these experiences were real. As a journalist with a scientific background he could not accept the reality of this bizarre phenomenon and explained it to himself as having come from his unconscious mind, similar to dreams. But he still had doubts. Finally, when he began to talk about the subject he learned that others also had experienced visions of past lives. Launched on a voyage of discovery, he began to realize that many events in his life could not be explained by science or common sense, but only through the manifestation of paranormal powers. He continued to interview others who shared their experiences in such things as telepathy, psychokinesis, distance viewing, precognition, near death experiences and other uncanny events. He began to research the subject and learned that there is a large body of evidence to support the reality of paranormal powers. And, strikingly, he began to see other manifestations of his own mental powers. He became aware of the possibility that there are quantum connections between human minds and the universe itself. This is his story.

You may ask who should read this book. Who would benefit from this discovery? The answers are here for anyone who has asked the following questions: For what purpose was I born? My human existence is for what reason? Am I needed, am I valuable, am I loved and if so by whom? Have you ever asked the questions: where did I come from, why am I here, why now, and where am I going? Some people feel they will never know the answers, however that is not the truth. The right question will reveal the manifold wisdom of God, the mystery of life. I will share with you what the Holy Spirit has shared with me about ability versus identity, taking your heart back from trespassers, living your life on empty, what it means to hear and obey, and the power you have as a speaking spirit. There is a question we must all ask ourselves. It is a personal, important, and necessary question. It's personal because you are the only one who can ask it. It's important because, knowing the answer can lead to why

Download Lincoln Lessons Book in PDF, Epub and Kindle
In Lincoln Lessons, seventeen of today’s most respected academics, historians, lawyers, and politicians provide candid reflections on the importance of Abraham Lincoln in their intellectual lives. Their essays, gathered by editors Frank J. Williams and William D. Pederson, shed new light on this political icon’s remarkable ability to lead and inspire two hundred years after his birth. Collected here are glimpses into Lincoln’s unique ability to transform enemies into steadfast allies, his deeply ingrained sense of morality and intuitive understanding of humanity, his civil deification as the first assassinated American president, and his controversial suspension of habeas corpus during the Civil War. The contributors also discuss Lincoln’s influence on today’s emerging democracies, his lasting impact on African American history, and his often-overlooked international legend—his power to instigate change beyond the boundaries of his native nation. While some contributors provide a scholarly look at Lincoln and some take a more personal approach, all explore his formative influence in their lives. What emerges is the true history of his legacy in the form of first-person testaments from those whom he has touched deeply. Lincoln Lessons brings together some of the best voices of our time in a unique combination of memoir and history. This singular volume of original essays is a tribute to the enduring inspirational powers of an extraordinary man whose courage and leadership continue to change lives today. Contributors Jean H.
